As I spun through the revolving door of the well air-conditioned office building lobby (after some rare and serious overtime) I was blasted by a pugnacious heat.
It was a sultry, NYC, early morning summer Saturday. I noted the tops of some of the skyscrapers had disappeared into a mysterious mist.
Nevertheless, I discovered a lively Times Square street fair beginning to garner attention just around the corner. I ambled about for a brief time before making my tired way home.
At some point -- enlivened by more sleep than on this occason -- I promise to do the typical teeming with humanity NYC street fairs better justice. This is an early morning spare taste of one.
