NYC eyes once again enjoying highway horizons:
Then there were the fun house decorations on local streets:
Enjoying George and Gracie:
[Enjoying Gracie enjoying her catnip-laced giftie]
[You talking to me?]
Along with cat-watching came some holiday and non-holiday tv watching:
[My digi camera fell in love with bro's HDTV:]
[They surely did need a bigger boat!]
Enjoyed a visit to Manhattan Beach:
A visit to Santa Monica's Third Street Promenade always a treat:
[These mobiles were spinning IRL -- too bad can't convey that in a pic]
[SM's Apple Store competes with NYC's in impressiveness!]
[SM has skyscrapers, too!]
New Year's Eve in LAX lounge awaiting a delayed Jetblue flight, 8:45pm Western Time, 11:45pm Eastern Time. (We left about 45 minutes late but got in 30 minutes early. A flight attendant informed me we had a serious tail wind pushing us up to 700mph a good part of the flight east!) We lounge waitees weren't a celebratory group clearly. But I was savoring a holiday peppermint-flavored Starbuck's latte and the new afterglow of a great trip with fresh warm memories and compelling impressions made!
ps -- here are a few recent NYC shots I'll stick in. I was tempted to add -- but there are too many -- T-day parade pix in here (that haunting belated photographic albatross I'll try to shed soon. Hah!].
